Spider-man Trilogy on Blu-ray

Tuesday the complete Spider-man trilogy will be released on Blu-ray and Amazon has it on sale for $64. I thought the first two movies were amazing and the third was just OK, but maybe after seeing the third one on Blu-ray and skipping the 2 chapters I don't like it will be amazing too. Remember if you are in the market for a Blu-ray player the PS3 40GB will come out on November 1 and it will sell for $399 and it will come with Spider-man 3.

Do you know your GI Joe

I was at my local Target and I saw that they had 25th anniversary GI Joe toys and it brought back memories of my childhood. My buddy and I used to have massive battles GI Joe vs. Star Wars figures in my backyard, we would spend hours setting them up and just before the battle my older brother would drive his R/C car through our set and destroy hours of set up time. He would laugh every time he did that, but we would still have fun after he was done having his. The rules are simple, it's basically the Family Feud with GI Joe's and you have to answer 10 questions. I found it kind of funny, but of course I would come home from school and watch it everyday.

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard

It took me some time last night to install the new version of the Mac OS X. I got an install failure 3 times in a row and so I had to do a fresh install, which in the long run will probably be best anyways. I wasn't that excited this morning about it since I was extremely excited after watching the guided tour and then I was up late last night and I knew I had to go and download all of my programs again. Now that I am 90% complete with the transformation, I do have to say it looks gorgeous, just look at my screen capture. What makes me very happy is the iCal doesn't say that it's July 17 ever day anymore. I haven't tried Time Machine, but it is designed to back up your system however often you would like and should be amazing. Spaces is also a nice feature, you can multiple screens of things your working on, for instance one screen could have your iTunes playing why in another you could be surfing the web, and without minimizing every minute or so you just click on the other space, kind of a cool feature. I also updated my iLife to '08 and I feel like I got a new computer, a nice little investment indeed. Leopard will only set you back $129 (Amazon had it on sale the other day) $199 for the family pack (5 computers) and iLife is $79 and $99 for a family pack (5 computers). Microsoft Vista Premium upgrade would cost a family of 5 well over $750. Well, I don't really have the time or patience to tell you everything that is new, but if you would like to read more or watch a video or two go to Apple's site and tell me what you think.

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard

I just finished watching the Mac OS X Leopard guided tour and I am simply impressed. Check out some of the new features that will make you want to upgrade or even switch to Mac if you haven't already. Leopard comes out this Friday at 6pm and will be available in a single user version for $129 or a 5 user family pack for $199. Microsoft could learn a thing or two from these price plans.

About time

It took me forever to get this to work, in Halo 3 they made a series of skulls to collect, some easy to find and others very difficult. This one called the IWHBYD would have been impossible if it weren't for the internet. To get it you have to jump through a series of rings in the correct order and I did it a dozen times or more and finally today I got it. Yeah for me.

Halo 3 - $300 Million in 1 week

Wow, it really isn't any surprise that this game was going to sell, but $300 million in one week is just amazing. It made $170 million in the first 24 hours, more than any blockbuster movie has ever made in 3 days. I bet Hollywood would like to charge $50 per ticket to get this kind of return on a movie, but then who would go out to see a movie, but I know that they are jealous.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

I have only been playing The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass on the DS for a short period of time due to the fact that I just picked it up last night and I was finishing Halo 3. My opinion of this game may be a little biased, if you have been reading my blog over the years, you would know that I am addicted to Zelda games, but I have to say after just watching the intro and starting the game, the graphics, controls, sound are awesome. You move link by placing your stylus on the screen where you want Link to go. The graphics remind me of the Gamecube version with link looking young. Some people didn't like that version of Zelda, but with the wide use of colors it is like butter. I know that I will really enjoy it and will update you when I am farther along. So, if you are a fan of Zelda (you probably already bought it) and have a DS, this is a definite buy it now.
