Corner Gas

I don't know if you have heard of the show Corner Gas, but I say if you were a big fan of Seinfeld then you should check out this show. Corner Gas is a show produced in Saskatchewan, Canada (where the heck is that, you say, look north of Montana) and was created by the shows main character Brent Butt. Like I said, if you like Seinfeld, it's a Canadian show about nothing and I find it hilarious. My Mom told us kids about the show a few years ago and now you can watch it here in the States on WGN or you can order the first 4 seasons from Amazon Canada. So, check it out and tell me what you think in the comments.

Well, if they can do this up north, then why can't Best Buy USA do the same.

It's Official HD-DVD is DEAD

Toshiba pulled out of the High Definition format war after suffering several blows in the past weeks that started with Warner Brothers in January switching from a neutral stance to Blu-ray (BD) exclusive, then on Monday Netflix said they will only be carrying BD, and Best Buy said that they would recommend BD to customers, and the final blow came Friday from the largest retailer chain in the world Walmart said that they will no longer be selling HD-DVD players in June. I am not a big fan of the company, but they do have a lot of pull, and when they say they are not going to sell something, then you should know that it is all over. Well, I won't miss the format as you know, but what are you doing, go out and buy a PS3 or stand alone BD player now. Target has a 40GB PS3 for $399 with a free $40.00 gift card.

Blu-Ray I choose you.... Netflix says.

The online movie rental company, Netflix, has chosen Blu-ray over HD-DVD. They will not order anymore HD-DVD movies, but will continue to rent currently stocked titles, but will not order any replacements if the titles get ruined. This is huge news, and when will Toshiba just give up.

Age of War

This game was put in front of me by my good friend Geoff and now that I have played it only once, I see why he likes it so much. You're basically on a battlefield that just spans across your screen and you build warriors to destroy the enemy. After a determined amount of hit points you evolve, from cavemen to future warriors with lasers. Give it a try and tell me what you think.
