Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

Lucas Arts and Traveller's Tales (TT) revamped the Lego Star Wars games for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS. This game combines Star Wars Legos and Star Wars Legos II on one disc by adding more features, new characters, and new levels. The coolest feature on the PS3 & 360 will be the online co-op feature that my brother sure will want to play. The PS3 will be in 1080P, the 360 version will have achievements, and the Wii will take advantage of the Wii-mote during battles with the light saber. I beat the second game, but never played the first one since it was only on the PS2 and Xbox. It's gonna be a hard choice of which one to pick up, PS3, play with my brother online, the 360, achievements, but the Wii will not really be a choice due the fact it's not in HD (come on Nintendo, Wii 2.0 1080P HD). The DS version is also been improve by TT remaking it from ground up, they had some real issues the first time it came out. They will all arrive in late November and I can't wait.

Halo week continues

Still playing HALO 3, a little ticked off that my limited edition disc was all scratched up. At least M$ will be replacing them for free, but of course you have to send it in (they came up with a solution really fast, Australia's limiteds came with foam inside, can you say they knew they had a problem), so then I can't play. I'll go as long as I can until it freezes up when it hits the scratched areas. Well, I better get back to the game.

Halo 3

If for some reason you haven't heard, Halo 3 comes out Tuesday Septemeber 25, 2007 at 12:01am at some stores and the next morning at all stores that sell games even 7-11 has been taking orders. It may be the largest selling game of all time on opening day, it's been told that over 3 million copies have already been pre-sold. With over 8 million systems out in the wild, there is a lot of potential, and since a lot of die hard Halo fans have been waiting for this game to get a system I predict from 2 - 3 million systems will sell just because this game. Then on the other hand I know some people will be very upset because they won't be able to play the game because their system is in for repair because of the famous red ring of death. I have had it, along with 4 of my friends, and 1 of my friends died just a week ago, so he is looking at 3 -4 weeks before it is fixed. This game is going to have a lot of people playing lots of hours, hope no ones system has any problems, otherwise there will be a lot of anger fans.

Phil Collins

This one is cool, not only a classic song that reminds me of Miami Vice back in the day, but that gorilla looks so real.

CHANNEL101.COM:

I found this video made by the fine folks at channel01.com hilarious, but be warned it uses the F word a few times, so keep the volume down if you watching this at work. I better be careful with my decorative Katana sword.

UPDATE: This video is no longer available on YouTube, there are a few more to watch, hurry before they get pulled down too, because swords will F*****G kill you.

Apple iPhone $100 rebate

If you bought your iPhone from the Apple store or an At&t store prior to August 22 you are eligible to get a $100 credit to use in store or online. The process is simple and it just took me less than a minute to enter my phone number and serial number. Then a couple of minutes later I got a text message with a confirmation number that you punch in and then the next screen had my coupon. As I have said before, Apple is doing the right thing by meeting people in the middle. I understand that prices drop, but 2 months later on the hottest electronic device ever. Thanks Apple.

PS.... You may want to check with your credit card company, they may also have some kind of price match offer.

Rambo 4 Trailer

I know that I posted this before, but now this is a better quality video. Warning this video is very graphic. I have a feeling that next summer is going to be a bigger than this one in ticket sales.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

On Memorial day weekend 2008 director Steven Spielberg will deliver the 4th Indiana Jones movie. Talk about a mouthful with the name, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, wow, say that 5 times fast. Should be great, you've got of course Spielberg (saying this film is for the fans), Harrison Ford (three of my favorite movie characters Indiana Jones, Han Solo, and Jack Ryan), Shia Labouf (Disturbia, Transformers), Karen Allen (from the first Indy flick). When will the Indy geeks get in line to be the first to see this flick.

Black MacBook Pro

This is what I want Apple, you can charge me $200 more, for all care, but I want a jet black MacBook Pro. Colorwarepc dot com will take your product from iPods to Nintendo Wii's to laptops and paint it any color from their vast library of colors. They charge $449 for laptops, and it would be worth it, but I'm affraid that this would void your warranty. That is why I call Apple out and ask them to create this for me and hopefully soon. I don't know the numbers, but I know that the black iPods have been very successful and I imagine that the black MacBook does very well too. Now who is with me....

Apple - To all iPhone customers

For anyone who bought an iPhone in the past 2 months for $599 Apple has decided that you will be entitled to a $100 credit to use online or in the store. Sweet, they will be giving you $100 to spend more $$$, so that way you feel like you were not taken advantage of. It is a nice jester, and a great publicity stunt to say the least. This came after lots of customers emailed their frustrations. I personally think that most people wouldn't be so upset if this price reduction would have come after 6 months, but 2 months is not a very long time. This will make a lot of people think twice to buy something so expensive in the future, which will affect the launch, and could make or break a product. Well, enough said read the letter here.

Wow, this is truly a huge iPod update, the rumors were there, but still it is amazing to see all of the choices. Which one intrigues you the most. I see a lot of iPhones being sold at that price, the Nano has it market and I always thought that you should be able to play video on there. The iPod classic looks real slick, and the iPod touch is a nice touch for people without an iPhone with Safari, YouTube, WiFi iTunes store. The WiFi iTunes store is huge, and being able to go into Starbucks and buy the song that is playing while you are enjoying that Iced Grande Tuxedo Latta is genius. As I am posting this, the Apple store is not working correctly in Firefox, so you might need to use IE... Hope they fix that real soon.

Reply to a post on Jimmy the Gun

Reply to a post on Jimmy the Gun
I originally started this as just a comment, then it was getting too long, so I decided to post my opinion on the subject here.

#1. Agree, I would love to have a copy and paste function [original post].

#2. Disagree, I like the keypad just how it is, I don't need the feed back that lots of people love. I do wish when your doing IM that when you rotate the iPhone you would have a bigger keypad, but really it wouldn't be that easy to type holding is sideways, so I am happy the way it is.

#3. Disagree, Safari on the iPhone is amazing, it is a total Internet experience. I don't know the circumstances that you were running into, I have never had that problem. I would say the only drawback for me is that it won't let you view flash videos, which is more than half of Youtubes arsenal and other sites that like to post videos.

#4. Agree, I think that Edge is too slow for most instances on the internet, but for looking at the weather, checking your email, and finding out what movie is playing where and when it plays is just fine. Trying to watch a Youtube video is rough but doable.

A couple of things you might want to think twice about is the sim card is 3G, just wait, we could see a software update in the next few days (hint, hint 9/5/07), or in the next few months with a software patch that would allow 3G, but who knows. Also, for how functional this phone is, there is no way that they developed it in 12 months, probably when they started it they only had Edge to work with, and by the time 3G was started to be used, it was too late to change.

The best thing about the iPhone is that other developers see what people want with their cell phones and this will make them develop better phones to compete, and then makes the industry stronger. Look at the Nokia on engadget.

I don't like to admit things like this, but not everything in life can be perfect, but I try to be the iPhone is almost.

No more calling Popcorn Sept 19, 2007

R.I.P. POPCORN

At&t will end the service to call POPCORN on your phone to find out what the current time is September 19, 2007. The truth is that most people don't use the service anymore, most likely we can blame the cell phone. Me personally I like to use it when time changes, just so I know exactly what time it is when I am setting my clocks. Well, goodbye time lady, make sure you call POPCORN (767-2676) on or before the 19th so you can say your goodbyes.
