Shoot 'Em Up

Wow, what more can I say (how many times have I said that on here) about the new movie Shoot 'Em Up (Sept. 7), which stars Clive Owen, Paul Giamatti, and Monica Belluci. I am excited so you should be too. Check out the trailer.

Code Monkeys

If you loved the 8-bit 80's video games, you probably will like this new show on G4. It's called Code Monkeys and it's on Wednesday nights at 9pm. It's a little difficult to describe, basically it is a show about game programmers drawn with 8-bit graphics that relives our childhoods of 8-bit video games and takes the characters to places that you shouldn't see, but in turn makes it extremely funny. I would have to say that you are either going to Love it or Hate it, but give it a chance if you have G4TV and tell me what you think.

More bad news for HD-DVD

Target just announced that they will only sell Blu-ray players this holiday season. After Blockbusters announcement a while back about only renting Blu-ray movies things aren't looking to good for the HD-DVD camp. All we would need would for Walmart to make the same decision then we could most certainly could say that it would be game over for HD-DVD.

Simpsonize Me

If you don't already know about the Simpson movie that gets released this Friday, you can consider yourself out of the loop. Fox is doing an amazing job for the publicity for this movie like transforming a dozen 7-11 stores into Kwik-E-Marts selling Duff Cola and sprinkled donuts. Each time I see the trailer the entire audience seems really interested. Well, if you would like to get in on the action go here and turn yourself into a Simpson. All you have to do is upload a picture of yourself and click a few options, next thing you will be one, but of course you have to log in to save your work. Have Fun.... (please note, I am not in any way endorsing Burger King and to be honest, The King commercials kind of scares me)

I'm digging my new broadband co.

Check out these speeds, simply amazing..... As Darth Vader would say, Impressive, most impressive.... In June Wave Broadband took over my old broadband co. and increased my speed to 6MB from 3MB and now it is 10MB. Not bad if you ask me.
